The "ASN.1 to C Compiler" product consists of:

An ASN.1 compiler for one operating system.
A run-time library for one or two operating systems.
A handbook for the use of the compiler.

The compiler and the runtime library are available for the following operating systems:

other 32/64 bit operating systems on inquiry.

The ASN.1 compiler generates portable ANSI/ISO-C code.

ASN.1 to Java Compiler:

The "ASN.1 to Java Compiler" product consists of:

An ASN.1 compiler for one operating system.
A Java run-time library.
A handbook for the use of the compiler.

The compiler is available for the following operating systems:

Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/XP/NT3.5/NT4.0/2000/2003
Sun Solaris Sparc/Intel
Linux
FreeBSD
Irix
other 32/64 bit operating systems on inquiry.

The runtime library is written completely in Java and can can be run on any JVM. The compiler generates system-independent Java code.
The ASN.1 compilers comply to the ITU-T Rec. X.680-X.691 | ISO/IEC 8824/25 from 1994/95.

License terms

We are offering the following basic licenses:

Commercial license:

For the development of commercial ASN.1 applications.

Compiler "ASN.1 to C" or "ASN.1 to Java" as binary for one common operating system.
Runtime library as binary for one or two common operating systems (C version only), more operating systems for small additional fees.
Runtime library as jar file runnable on any operating system (Java version only).
Compiler will be restricted to internal use within the company network.
ASN.1 Compiler must not be distributed.
ASN.1 Runtime library and generated files may be distributed as binary integral part of a product without any additional license fees.

University license:

For research and education only.

Compiler "ASN.1 to C" or "ASN.1 to Java" as binary for one common operating system.
Runtime library as binary for one or two common operating systems (C version only), more operating systems for small additional fees.
Runtime library as jar file runnable on any operating system (Java version only).
Compiler and runtime library will be restricted to internal use within the university network.
ASN.1 Compiler must not be distributed.
ASN.1 Runtime library and generated files must not be distributed.

Evaluation license:

For evaluation purposes only.

Runtime library as jar file runnable on any operating system (Java version only).
Compiler and runtime library will be restricted to internal use within the company network.

ASN.1 Runtime library and generated files must not be distributed.
Will expire after an evaluation period (usually 3 months).
